If there’s been no other modification and it’s stock the top speed should be limited to 15mph. You can get a new magnet for the end of the motor. You’ll have to see if you have a GE motor or an Advanced DC motor. You can tell the difference because the GE will be flat on the end, and the ADC will have a cap that sticks out with the sensor. Replacing with a high speed magnet will remove the governor and will disable the regen. But it’ll still retain the rollaway braking and such. It’s a pretty cheap/easy mod. I can tell you on stock tires and all, 25mph (highest i’ve got mine is something like 28mph down a hill) it gets pretty questionable at that speed. So it’s probably best to start with suspension mods to increase the stability first.
